How to start and learn
Learn the basics of programming and the Kotlin language, then build several simple apps: a to-do list, a weather app, notes. After that add networking and a database and bring one app to publication, or at least to a tidy state on GitHub. The course assumes some basic knowledge of programming, so a complete beginner should first learn the fundamentals. For a first job people usually look for a junior position or an internship.
Where they work
In Armenia Android developers work in startups and product companies, mobile development studios, banks and fintech projects, and as freelancers. The skill set is easily extended with Kotlin Multiplatform or some knowledge of iOS.
